Wild South Northlands Mall and Hanmer Springs

Bushnell Builders were approached by Wilson and Hill Architects to undertake refurbishment of the existing shop in Northlands Mall. Following successful completion of this work Bushnells undertook the fit out of a new Wild South store in Hanmer Springs.

Bushnells complete a significant number of negotiated building contracts. A negotiated contract enables the Contractor and Client to work closely together to select subcontractors on the basis of quality of workmanship, price and performance to time.

These contracts are usually undertaken on an ‘open book’ basis where all Bushnell pricing is available for scrutiny. The advantages to a Client for this type of contract are:

Better standards of subcontract workmanship
Greater flexibility to make design changes during construction
Shortened lead time for Design
Bushnells input into the design process assists ‘buildability’ with cost savings to the Client

The ‘open book’ policy

Merivale House

This Peter Beaven designed house is an impressive piece of Architecture. After a number of successful contracts undertaken with Peter Beaven Bushnells were approached to negotiate the construction of this prestigious house. Co-operation between Bushnells, the consultants and the owner have produced a quality finished product.

Sumner House

The owners approached Bushnells directly to negotiate the construction of this house on a prominent site above Sumner. As with all architectural housing attention to detail is essential and the finish product is something all involved can be proud of.
